Bishnupur Municipality’s Sanitation and Conservancy service is always at your doorstep for keeping your Municipality clean and garbage free, and always on their toes to keep yours surrounding habitable.

THE MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE DPARTMENT

Main objective of the Sanitation and Conservancy Department is clean and clears the Municipal Town. This Department is primarily entrusted with the responsibility of providing clean and clears the garbage’s, clear the Roads and Drainage system with maintenance. Collection removal and disposal of all kinds of wastes, filth, Rubbish, House Debris, Earth Refuses and other obnoxious/polluted matters and garbage and also other related materials.
Removal and disposal of the unclaimed dead bodies and carcasses of all dead Animals.
The Department of Sanitation and Conservancy directs all activities related to garbage collection disposal, recycling, street cleaning including registration of new garbage and recycling cans. It is also responsible for ensuring compliance of local, State and federal regulation of solid waste collection and disposal.

PUBLIC UTILITY SERVICE

1. Regular Road sweeping main public Road, Sub Roads, Streets, lanes, By Lanes, Footpaths. Etc.
2. Day to Day garbage cleaning.
3. Day to Day garbage lifting
4. Drain cleaning and maintain a well balanced drainage system.
5. Septic Tank Latrine cleaning.
6. Point to Point / House to House collection of garbage
7. Regular Identification the Nuisance and registration of new garbage.
8. Regular cleaning of public Toilets/Street Toilets and other related Municipal Lavatory.
9. Maintenance of proper sanitary condition during Mela/Festival/Occasion and any problem during Climatic disorder.
10. Management of solid waste.
11. Remove dead bodies and carcasses of all dead animal and proper disposed
12. Raid Work (unwholesome food articles) at different Markets, Tea and Sweet meat shop.
13. Ambulance Service.
14. Supply Drinking water tanker service.
15. VAT (Cover Container) supply service.
